Allows the continuation of a secondary property tax of $1.36 per $100 of assessed property value for the maintenance of hospitals. Secondary property taxes are small taxes on assessed property values, which is the value assigned to the property by the local government AND NOT the market value of the home (which is what you'd buy the house for). Assessed property values are MUCH LOWER than market property values. This measure continues an already-existing secondary property tax (meaning it would NOT raise taxes) to support hospital infrastructure, equipment, patient safety, and healthcare.

A YES vote supports hospital infrastructure, equipment, patient safety, and healthcare WITHOUT raising taxes.

NO

A NO vote rejects the continuation of this tax, threatening hospital infrastructure, equipment, patient safety, and healthcare.
