Proposition 142

Prohibits diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in the state government, including public schools and universities. This would prohibit institutions from even CONSIDERING race — including but not limited to admittance, scholarship programming, student coalitions, and hiring — and roll back civil rights and the ability to address systemic inequality.

A YES vote prohibits public institutions and universities from addressing systemic inequality, prohibiting them from even CONSIDERING race.

NO

A NO vote allows public institutions and universities to address systemic inequality through scholarships and programming.
