Forms of Identification

List #1 (One Required)

To use just one ID at the polls, voters need a valid government issued ID that includes your name, photo and the address where you are registered to vote. If the ID is expired or the address on the ID does NOT reasonably match the address on your voter record, see List #2 or List #3.

  • Valid Arizona Driver License

  • Arizona ID Card

  • Tribal Enrollment Card

  • Valid U.S. Federal, State, or Local Government-issued ID

Digital Voter Registration Card

List #2

Your digital Voter Registration Card is an acceptable form of identification at the polls under List #2, meaning you'll need to provide an additional form of identification to vote a standard ballot. Learn more about List #2 ID requirements when voting in person by scrolling down.

Other List #2 Items

Two Required

Voters without a List #1 photo ID may choose two options from List #2 to vote a regular ballot. The address on these forms of identification must "reasonably appear" to match name and address on your voter registration record. Identification is deemed valid unless it can be determined on its face that it has expired.
